National Venture Capital Association Selects IntraLinks as its Strategic Partner to Deliver Secure Online Investor Communications Services to Venture Capital Firms

New York, February 19, 2004
The National Venture Capital Association, the leading trade association representing venture capital firms, and IntraLinks, the leading provider of online investor communications services to the venture capital community, today announced a partnership to offer online fundraising and reporting services to NVCA member firms. The NVCA selected IntraLinks as its exclusive technology partner because of IntraLinks’ industry-leading document security services.

“Venture capital is a relationship business and good communication is essential,” said Mark Heesen, President of the National Venture Capital Association. “IntraLinks’ online fundraising and reporting services will facilitate the distribution of information and improving communication among general and limited partners.”

IntraLinks allows private equity firms to distribute fund information to limited partners securely over the Internet. General partners can store documents such as partnership agreements, quarterly reports and capital calls online. IntraLinks can be deployed quickly and requires no investment in new software, hardware or infrastructure by firms or their clients.

The NVCA and IntraLinks will conduct a series of seminars for NVCA-member firms around the country on industry topics such as how private equity firms can take their reporting and marketing processes online. NVCA members who sign up for IntraLinks’ reporting and fundraising services will receive an exclusive annual discount on the service.

“We are proud to have been chosen by the NVCA to help bring the venture capital community’s communications online. We look forward to working with them to provide secure, cost-effective reporting and fundraising services to their members,” said Nicholas Worswick, Vice President of Business Development at IntraLinks.
