IntraLinks and HSA Horwath, Frankfurt Enter Strategic Cooperation
London/Frankfurt, 17 December, 2007
HSA Horwath, Frankfurt, has entered into a strategic cooperation with IntraLinks, the leading provider of secure online workspaces. Both companies will partner on projects in the German market providing due diligence services for M&A transactions as well as internal data management services.
For mergers and acquisitions deals, IntraLinks’ secure virtual datarooms replace the physical datarooms once used for due diligence. Using IntraLinks, firms can post all relevant documents securely online, enabling buyers to conduct due diligence simultaneously and accelerating the deal process. Sellers can also use IntraLinks’ reporting tools to monitor dataroom activity and gauge buyer interest.
HSA Horwath Frankfurt creates and manages the content of the virtual dataroom during the entire due diligence process. This includes the coordination of all tasks involved, the continuous monitoring of the process and regular quality controls.
In addition to their offering to the M&A industry, HSA Horwath, Frankfurt and IntraLinks will cooperate to provide data management services aimed at improving clients’ communication processes. As companies have to deal with more confidential information and an increasingly competitive and regulated business environment, the demand for security and efficiency in all communication is mounting. Using an online workspace can facilitate the secure exchange of documents and accelerate essential business processes.
“As a leading provider of due diligence and strategic business services HSA Horwath Frankfurt is an ideal firm to partner with. This cooperation will enable us to build our existing business in Germany and further expand our position in the M&A market”, says Andrew Pearson, Managing Director EMEA at IntraLinks.
“We also see a growing demand for our corporate services offering due to an increasingly competitive business environment and growing corporate governance requirements. By joining forces with Horwath, we can provide tailored solutions to clients, making their internal and external exchange of confidential documents efficient and secure.”
“In an ever more challenging market, a speedy and efficient due diligence process is vital for the success of an M&A transaction” says Michael Asderis, Managing Director, HSA Horwath, Frankfurt. “By combining IntraLinks technology solutions with Horwath Frankfurt’s operational services we can enhance the due diligence process, reduce deal times significantly and increase the convenience for all parties involved.”
