IntraLinks Names Asia Pacific Managing Director

Region Seen as Next Growth Area for Online Workplaces
to Drive Banking, Legal and Corporate Efficiency and Data Security

IntraLinks®, the leading provider of online workspaces for secure document exchange, today announced the appointment of Paul Rafalowski as Managing Director to lead the company’s expansion in the Asia Pacific region.

“In the past 10 years, the ability to exchange documents securely online has changed the way financial transactions and corporate projects are done in the United States and Europe,” Mr. Rafalowski said. “In Asia, many professionals are still exchanging unencrypted but highly critical documents by e-mail and via couriers and face-to-face meetings. IntraLinks is excited that we can now fully meet the demand here for secure and highly efficient document sharing.”

Mr. Rafalowski was heading the sales team of the Midwest region in North America before he took up his new post in Hong Kong in March. He will be responsible for leading the company’s team in Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore and Japan, and managing the business in the entire Asia Pacific region, including sales, business development, partner relationships and developing new markets.

Initially, the company will focus on marketing its On-Demand Workspaces™, which provide a secure, virtual environment where business communities can exchange sensitive, high-value information across enterprise boundaries, to investment bankers and lawyers involved in mergers and acquisition and other financial transactions as well as the syndicated loan community.

Mr. Rafalowski joined IntraLinks in 2006 and has nearly 15 years of technology company management experience. Prior to working at IntraLinks, he served as the Vice President of Sales and President of InnerIQ, Inc., a start-up provider of business process management software. He also served as a Vice President for Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), where he was responsible for businesses in both the Americas and Asia Pacific. Mr. Rafalowski holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
