Janine CaldarellaThe enormity and sheer scope of last month’s RSA 2011 Conference, held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, was apparent even before reaching the convention center and expo show floor. Droves of RSA attendees, exhibitors, delegates and speakers marched the city streets of San Francisco to make their way to what is known as one of the largest and most comprehensive information security events. The RSA Conference offers enterprise and technical professionals a vast number of opportunities to network with, and learn from, the industry’s best and brightest talents.

Upon arriving at the Moscone Center one thing became glaringly clear. Information security is a growing concern and a growing business. There seemed to be an endless sea of vendors exhibiting solutions for securing business critical information, systems, processes, etc.

Sponsor and vendor companies ranged from software to hardware, to Software-as-a-Service (or cloud-based solutions) to information security publications and beyond. As varied as the exhibiting sponsors/vendors were, the attendees came from an even more diverse range of companies. What was clear is that companies, regardless of industry, are concerned about information security and more specifically how information is kept secure in the cloud.

As the event kicked off on the Monday evening, the IntraLinks booth was flooded with prospects. We spoke with security engineers from major banks, directors of IT security at healthcare facilities, compliance officers at gas and electric companies, you name it, we talked to them. As you may have guessed, the one common question that kept coming up was how do we do what we do? How does IntraLinks ensure that information/documents are securely exchanged outside the firewall and in the cloud?

We spent ample time with each prospect and addressed these very important questions. We were able to explain our technology and put it into the context of their business, outlining that regardless of their particular use case, IntraLinks would be able to provide the solution for secure collaboration and document exchange in the cloud. Having John Landy, our chief technology officer, and Mushegh Hakhinian, our security architect, on hand in the booth was a great asset as they also answered the highly technical questions that we received.

Mushegh Hakhinian not only spent time at the booth, but was also selected to present in a session titled: “Strong Authentication for Online Applications: Building it Right”. Mushegh took this opportunity to showcase IntraLinks as a thought leader in the IT security space, presenting to more than 200 RSA delegates.

Throughout RSA, the main issues of concern remained the same with the attendees that we spoke to - securing critical information and mitigating risk all the while efficiently and effectively meeting business objectives. For IntraLinks, the event proved to be a perfect fit. Although IntraLinks may not have been among the largest companies that were exhibiting at RSA, we still clearly demonstrated our key differentiators and showed attendees why they need to consider using our solutions. By attending the RSA Conference, we took another critical step in establishing IntraLinks as an essential solution for secure collaboration and communication in the cloud.

We walked away from the RSA experience with the knowledge that our strong commitment to providing the most secure, SaaS-based solution for information exchange and collaboration is not in vain. Security is clearly a top of mind concern for nearly all information technology professionals, across all businesses.

Dear Mr/MrsI am as student in PhD Of Chemistry porrgam ITB (InstitutTeknologi Bandung) INDONESIA. I saw on the web about Fully-Funded International Research Scholarships (FIRS) 2011 2012My research about electrochemistry as one of the field in chemistry , and I am interested in the field of biosensors and bioreactor of membrane with the aim to develop of my research. As an il*****ration of the topic of my research is about fabrication of bioreactor of membrane (MBR) with a polypyrrole (PPy) matrix to immobilize enzyme that is poliphenol oxidase with the aim to degrade the toxic phenol into a quinone. To get a good synthesis of this membrane, we need the electrochemical studies of data required, namely the synthesis of a polypyrrole film coating to immobilize enzymes with the electropolymerization of cyclic voltammetry method As one porrgam that supports of PhD porrgamme in ITB namely student research (visiting scientist) porrgams through research for about two to three months to study abroad. Please response for the study visit porrgam, for I will give the proposal furtherThank you for your cooperationBest regard,AMPhD student of ITBBandungINDONESIA
