Ever wonder how due diligence impacts deal success? Or how you can push the dealmaking process in your favor? What about deal leaks - are most M&A leaks intentional?  Well wonder no more.

On November 21, 2013, Intralinks co-hosted its first live Twitter Q&A on global pre-announcement M&A activity and its effect on M&A outcomes to answers these questions and many others.  The goal of our #MNAQNA Twitter Q&A was to discuss the findings of new research Intralinks completed with the M&A Research Centre at Cass Business School, City University London, into the effect of the pre-announcement due diligence process on acquirers, sellers and key M&A outcomes. Intralinks VP of Strategy & Product Marketing, Philip Whitchelo, and the Director of the M&A Research Centre at Cass Business School, City University London, Professor Scott Moeller were glued to their Twitter streams readily awaiting questions. We got a lot of great feedback from #MNAQNA participants, met some new folks and had an all-round great time.

Below we've featured questions that our audiences asked and the answers Philip and Scott provided.  You can also view the full Twitter #MNAQNA script and download the Cass Research Report: When No One Knows for intuitive discussions and key findings from the research, respectively.  Thank you to everyone who participated in our event – hope you enjoyed the chat.
