Key Highlights from the AM&AA Winter Conference in Scottsdale

"One key theme at the AM&AA Conference was the importance of deal sourcing platforms such as Dealnexus," said Kevin Doyle, manager of Intralinks Dealnexus™.

4 February 2014

Recently we wrapped up our three-day-long sponsorship at the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA) winter conference in Scottsdale, Arizona.  The conference, led by M&A professionals eager to share their experiences in dealmaking, is instrumental in bringing together the premier middle-market banks and private equity groups.  Over 400 investment bankers and private equity professionals attended the event last week, many of whom actively market and source their deals on the Intralinks Dealnexus™ platform.

Intralinks is an ongoing sponsor of the AM&AA Conference because of the organization’s emphasis on connecting the most active players in the middle-market  – a foundational aspect of Intralinks Dealnexus™, which was released last Fall. "One key theme at the AM&AA Conference was the importance of deal sourcing platforms such as Dealnexus," said Kevin Doyle, manager of Intralinks Dealnexus™.

Throughout the conference attendees heard key highlights from speakers covering a wide range of topics, including:

  • The state of middle-market M&A today
  • The effect of new federal laws and regulations on the dealmaking process
  • Case studies on new and exciting deal structures

Attendees also found a myriad of networking opportunities, from pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings to the renowned AM&AA Deal Bash networking event.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth and to the AM&AA for putting a great conference together.
