Technology will continue to evolve the way deals get done today. More and more M&A professionals are adopting social media and community-based deal networks as a low cost alternative to broaden their reach of potential buyers and sellers, and ultimately speed up the dealmaking process.
Deal sourcing networks or Online Private Market Networks (PMNs) as they are often called, are becoming very beneficial tools for M&A professionals, so much that according to the results of a global survey of over 2,400 M&A professionals, "about 50% of respondents report that they are already using online deal sourcing in their day-to-day processes.”
