2 December 2019
APAC is expected to see a boost in new mergers and acquisitions (M&A) deals in the first quarter of 2020, with a +7 YOY increase. It’s just one of the predictions in the Q1 2020 edition of the SS&C Intralinks Deal Flow Predictor.
Based on intensive data and predictive models from Refinitiv1 and Intralinks, the new issue shows Real Estate, Financials and Industrials keep up the positive contribution they made in Q4 2019. Materials and Healthcare are predicted to be the weakest performers this quarter.
The growth range is predicted to be +12 to +2 percent.
By region, APAC is showing an even distribution of strength. Some of the strongest contributors for growth coming from India, Japan, and the China/Hong Kong area. (Last quarter, Australasia held a share of growth but has since fallen back.)
