Intralinks M&A Summit NYC

Intralinks consistently provides our community with thought leadership – Deal Flow Predictor, Annual M&A Leaks Report, Abandoned Acquisitions, etc. – to help dealmakers do deals better. And when it comes to facilitating conversations about hot topics, we go the extra mile to get to the heart of the matter. Last year alone Intralinks presented a spate of events worldwide, and we can’t wait to tell you about some exciting events we have on the horizon.

At the end of 2019 Intralinks presented our inaugural invite-only M&A Summit in New York City, an afternoon comprised of two panel discussions moderated by William Jefferson Black of Transaction Advisers.

The first panel – “Improving the Deal Team Composition and Process” (pictured above) – featured panelists Hugh Boston, vice president, corporate finance and corporate development at Interpublic; Nichelle Maynard-Elliott, board member at Element Solutions; Sarah Salomon, principal, global M&A group at Mercer; and Alan Konevsky, chief legal officer at tZERO.

After an insightful keynote from Margot Miller, Global Legal Director, commercial and M&A at Anheuser-Busch InBev, “Buying Innovation: Doing Technology-driven Deals Effectively” featured panelists Brian Fischbein, managing director, TMT Investment Banking at UBS; Luis R. Meza, corporate development principal, IBM; Florencia Podestá, manager, mergers & acquisitions at WeWork; Alison Heyden, senior counsel at Warburg Pincus; and Ben Collins, Director, Strategy, Intralinks.

The two-minute video below provides a taste of the thoughtful discussion that took place and hints at things to come in our global event series.
