According to a report by Markets and Markets, the cybersecurity market is estimated to grow to USD170bn by 2020, at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 9.8 percent. In the PwC Global State of Information Security Survey 2015, it was revealed that US information security budgets have grown at almost double the rate of IT budgets over the last two years.

The operational challenge that fund managers face in creating robust cybersecurity infrastructure will be the focal point of the luncheon hosted by Intralinks and Global Fund Media in. James Williams, editor of Hedge Week and Private Equity Wire will lead a panel of prominent alternative investment groups and leading service providers, advising managers on key considerations for assessing vendor security, identifying areas of vulnerability, and developing a more holistic approach to cyber threats.
