Australian Corporate Lawyers Association Selects Intralinks

Date: 06/19/2012

Intralinks® (NYSE: IL), a leading, global technology provider of inter-enterprise content management and collaboration solutions, today announced that the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association (ACLA), a national association that supports 3,500 in-house corporate lawyers working in corporations and government agencies in Australia, has selected Intralinks Connect℠ to streamline communication with its board members.

The Australian Corporate Lawyers Association needed to give board members an easier way to access organizational charters and board packets.

Board members consistently struggled with firewall issues, access restrictions, and ease of access to information. ACLA wanted a solution that would be easy to use by its Board members, but would also help ensure that they had full control and transparency into whom, when, and how their information was accessed.

“ACLA has adopted Intralinks as its core board reporting solution and endorses it to all of its board members,” says Trish Hyde, Chief Executive Officer at ACLA. “Intralinks Connect provides a robust solution that enables our board members to securely access documents anywhere, at any time.”

Intralinks Connect, a Software-as-a-Service platform, provides easy access to the organization’s documents from a range of devices, including iPads®, smart phones, and laptops. Using a single, secure, and easy-to-use portal, ACLA is able to work faster, manage data more efficiently, and share content in a more secure manner.

“Intralinks has been able to help ACLA manage information governance by giving them the ability to exchange data safely and securely,” said Ash Khalek, managing director and senior vice president, Sales, APAC of Intralinks. “The organization now has the capacity to effectively meet the needs of its board members by having a platform that provides easy access to information in a timely and more secure approach.”
