Annabelle Mooney

Annabelle Mooney – National Leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers

Annabelle is the National Leader of PwC’s Financial Sponsors Group. She recently joined PwC from Bank of America Merrill Lynch where she led private equity coverage. Annabelle has had a hugely successful career within M&A spanning over 16 years at prestigious firms including Goldman Sachs, Nomura and Ashurst. Her M&A experience spans public, private and cross-boarder deals across a range of sectors - usually advising private equity clients and focusing on delivering PwC’s services in a highly integrated way and to help her clients identify and execute investment opportunities.

Elizabeth Fritts

Elizabeth Fritts – Managing Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers

Elizabeth has over 13 years of financial advisory and capital markets experience. She is highly qualified to manage teams on highly complex, quantitative and analytic M&A deals, and is also able to bring a solid understanding of overall capital structure and the value of appropriate debt structures for acquisitions. Elizabeth joined the PwC Mergers & Acquisitions team in 2012 from Morgan Stanley. Her most recent role at Morgan Stanley was as Senior Associate in the Sydney-based Acquisition & Leveraged Finance team, and prior to that she worked in their New York and Houston investment banking practices, in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Global Energy Groups, respectively. 

Karen Chan

Karen Chan – Director at Investec

Karen is part of the Emerging Companies team at Investec (IEC) which provides an integrated capital and advisory offering to help entrepreneurs and high growth companies through an “Advise, Invest, Connect” strategy. Karen has ~15 years of experience in principal investing, investment banking (public and private M&A and capital markets advisory), law and consulting. Past experience includes working across Asia Pacific in Technology investment banking (Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan), M&A (Gresham) and in-house legal (Jurlique). Karen holds a Bachelor of Commerce/ Bachelor of Laws (Hons).

Rachael Edwards

Rachael Edwards – Director at Ironstone Capital 

Rachael is a Director at Ironstone Capital, a corporate advisory boutique in Sydney.  Her focus is on infrastructure, having spent a large portion of her career in investment banks originating social PPP transactions (major hospitals, prisons, university accommodation, and social housing). She worked at ABN Amro (which went on to become the Royal Bank of Scotland), the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, and commenced her career as a cadet at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Rachael has worked across M&A transactions (both buy side and sell side), Government advisory roles, as well as corporate and project advisory roles. Her clients have included AGL, Spark Infrastructure, APA, Sydney Airport, Neoen, and Leightons (now CIMIC). Rachael became a mum in 2016 and is particularly passionate about how families make it all work whilst maintaining exciting and often extremely demanding careers.
