As with any country, due diligence (‘DD’) is a critical part of the transaction process for buyside and sell-side in Singapore. Whilst the deal making community has long suspected that the length of the DD process impacts the chances of a successful deal outcome, this relationship has previously remained unexplored. Intralinks, in association with the M&A Research Centre at City University London’s prestigious CASS Business School, investigated the effect DD has on the outcome of a transaction.
