Hedge fund assets set another high watermark in the third quarter with total capital under management reaching $2.51 trillion according to Hedge Fund Research, Inc. (HFR). Over $23 billion in new capital was added in the third quarter of this year, the highest since the second quarter of 2011. And while this might merit a cause for celebration among fund managers, where that new capital is actually going might not sit well for all those involved.
Authors Joshua Rosenbaum and Joshua Pearl decided to write “Investment Banking” because they realized most of the knowledge they needed in the recruiting process, and subsequently as a new hire in the investment banking world, wasn’t easily available in books or the classroom. So, on the heels of the publication of the second edition of “Investment Banking,” they decided to embark on a media tour of schools and universities to give the students some insight into what they really need to know to enter the investment banking world.
