Amber Infrastructure Scales Investor Engagement With FundCentre AI™
Unifying fundraising and reporting to deliver a seamless, secure investor experience
Amber Infrastructure is part of Boyd Watterson Global Asset Management Group LLC (‘Boyd’), a global diversified infrastructure, real estate and fixed income business with over USD 39 billion in assets under management (AUM) and over 300 employees with offices in eight US cities and eleven countries.
Amber itself is a specialist international investment manager focused on investment, asset management and fund management founded in 2009, with more than USD 19.6 billion in AUM. As the firm expanded its fundraising activities and launched new investment initiatives, the capital solutions and investor relations (CSIR) team needed a more efficient way to manage investor communications and due diligence workflows.
Having already used SS&C Intralinks for Fundraising for several years, Amber Infrastructure expanded its use of the platform to include FundCentre Reporting (formerly Intralinks InvestorVision™), creating a more unified investor experience across fundraising and investor reporting.
Situation
Amber Infrastructure’s CSIR team manages ongoing investor communications, reporting and capital-raising activities across multiple funds and investor groups. Prior to standardizing workflows on Intralinks, some investor materials were shared through consumer-grade file-sharing applications. While manageable for smaller requests, the process lacked the security controls, auditability and professional experience required to deliver institutional investor communications at scale.
As the firm launched new investment initiatives and expanded investor engagement, the team recognized the need for a more centralized approach that would improve security, simplify document distribution and deliver a more professional experience for investors. Amber Infrastructure evaluated several solutions before selecting Fundraising and FundCentre Reporting based on the platform’s security, investor familiarity and long-term scalability.
Solution
The firm implemented Fundraising and FundCentre Reporting to centralize investor communications within a single trusted platform. With many investors already familiar with Intralinks through other fund managers and transactions, the rollout was seamless, and investors gained fast access to fundraising and reporting materials.
The platform’s granular permission controls, document-tracking capabilities and audit trails strengthened oversight of sensitive information while improving operational efficiency for internal teams. Emmi Gregory, a member of the CSIR team, also pointed to the value of Intralinks’ customer support and partnership approach throughout implementation and ongoing use.
Results
By centralizing investor communications with Intralinks, Amber Infrastructure replaced fragmented document-sharing processes with a more secure, scalable and professional investor experience. Instead of managing multiple channels for fundraising and reporting, the team now provides investors with secure, controlled document access through a unified platform.
Internally, the platform improved operational efficiency by simplifying access management and allowing the CSIR team to move away from manual administrative processes. Externally, it delivered a more polished and consistent experience for investors engaging with Amber Infrastructure across different stages of the investment life cycle. And with FundCentre’s enhanced document protections, audit trails and structured permissions, the firm’s compliance posture is more robust than ever.
As Amber Infrastructure continues to expand its investment strategies and investor engagement activities, the CSIR team is now well-positioned to scale investor communications through a trusted platform already familiar to much of the global investment community. By unifying fundraising and investor reporting within FundCentre, the firm has significantly improved its operational foundation, helping strengthen investor relationships and support future expansion.
